I'm a huge Fantastic Four fan, but their alternate reality variations can be agonizing to keep up with. Half good, half bad, mixed powers, different marriages, soldiers, agents, Heralds, ect ect. So, when I was asked to fix this one up, I was momentarily puzzled. Brute is the Reed Richards of Counter-Earth, who has the ability to transform into a massive purple beast. He ended up in the 616 universe, and joined the Frightful Four for a period. Of course, he only became evil in the first place because he got hit in the head. The concussion magically wore off after he witnessed the 616 Reed risk his life to save Sue. Then he sacrificed himself to return the Cosmic Rod to Annihilus. Fixing him up was generally simple. Full repaint of Hulk with the hair cut away on the head and the larger dome sculpted on. Simple enough, and pretty happy with it.
