Well, it's been a little while since I shared anything new...got a bunch of commissions nearly completed including Gollum from the Rankin Bass Hobbit film and a MCU Yellow Jacket for Marvel Legends. Those should be wrapped by week's end (fingers crossed) and then a Marty McFly custom...but for today, I have two new DC movie customs: First up is a new Brandon Routh from Superman Returns. He's made from (appropriately so) a MM Superman. As usual, I sculpted the entire suit, only leaving the shoulders and hands untouched. Tried to sculpt as many of the minute details as possible, especially on the boots which can be seen in the detail pic below. Not a super difficult custom to make, but I wanted it to look as factory as possible. I realize the face still screams Henry Cavill, but I think I changed the hair enough to make it distinguishable...AND considering the fact that Cavill was very nearly cast for Superman Returns, this works for me.
