So I went snooping around the swap meet, where u can find figures galore loose and in the package for crazy low prices BTW & ran into this sigma 6 tunnel rat figure with absolutely NO weapons for nuthn. So I was like dude he resembles Gambit with a beanie on. WHY NOT? So I took a marvel select Gambit with practically no articulation and took his jacket for my sigma 6. Took a throwing poker card as well from the marvel select gambit. Painted the jacket and his arms acrylic earth brown and black washed it. Added a bit of black wash to his face wiping it to give him a "I need a shave look." (:
I then painted with acrylic purple any spot he had armor plating including his leg guards, knees, chest and back. As well as his boots. Gave him a black wash finish to his buckles on his shoes also. Took sum acrylic testors orange to his eyes adding acrylic gloss to his eyes and armor plate spots also to give that shiny look. Grabbed a staff off a play arts kai Robin which fit perfect for my sigma 6. And well that's pretty much it. Oh yeah almost forgot his hat! Took it off a Neca Freddy Krueger I have 7 different of. Why the hat? Well I thought Gambit looked pretty freakn bad ass in the X-Men Origins-Wolverine movie with his hat. So I gave him that look which came out pretty dam cool if I do say so myself.
