The body is all Human Torch, but I never felt that it was a really good sculpt for the torch, really skinny torso profile. It was a clear red plastic version, but funny thing about this figure is that I started building it like in 2008 or so, then kind of got away from customizing for a while, we had another kid, graduated from college, you know, life stuff. So into the fodder box it went. I started getting back into customizing after I graduated and could think about something other than school, and found him still knocking about. I did most of it back in 08 but for the wings on the helmet and feet, and the belt. So a few grams of Aves apoxysculpt later, a fresh coat of paint . . . I give you my version of the Golden Age Flash!
Thanks for the comments. I'm updating the images, the ones I started with were taken with a phone, not bad, but not great. I took some with a real camera, and had some fun with photoshop to give him that old-timey feel that Redmist mentioned!
Thanks! It's funny, but when he was the Torch, I didn't think much of the head sculpt, but after I got it all painted I have to say that that's a pretty good likeness of him! There should be a contest where you have to use a Chris Evans head for whatever figure you're going to make, given he's making a career of playing superheroes.
