When the LOSH Universe rebooted in the 90's the Fatal Five got an upgrade also. In this case Tharok was more human than cyborg but still evil and cunning. But when Mano saw Tharok's true intentions (to blow themselves with the Legionnaires) he decided to stop Tharok by melting half of him with a touch. This drove him mad and eventually he upgraded himself into a powerful cyborg (which I'll be doing later).
