I had gotten the new target 3 pack cap about a year ago and fell in love with it, but I still felt it had its problems. the main issue I had was that it wasn't as classic as I wanted it to be, when I saw that Hasbro was planning on doing a true classic cap in the future I was disappointed in two things, one they are using the grim reaper body mold which doesn't match the other incarnations and two there was no scales on his armor once again!!! So I set out to make my own. The base figure was the newest ultimate captain America, I used the mojo wave Luke cage legs and boots for his lower half. The scaling on the armor is sequins that I glued individually on his upper torso and upper biceps. This proved to be a pain but I like the results, I sculpted the wings on his mask and the star is a button that has sculpt filling in the threading holes. He comes with the classic colored shield, I painted the the blue and silver one from the winter solider cap figure and added some bullet dents and scuds to the paint. Hope you all enjoy, thank you!!!
