Yippee Ki Yay!... and you know the rest….. lol. Today I wanted to do something special and share my custom John McClane from the first Die Hard movie(1988)battle damaged. I've seen other Die Hard customs on here and they are all very awesome but thats not what inspired me. What gave me the idea was the feet mainly and also the head. The feet were an extra fodder part I had on hand. I said to myself this would be cool to try and make John McClane. I guess John McClane is kinda muscular but this is what he would look like if he was working out a lot lol, I think he turned out well.

Head: Diamond Select "Hartigan"
Body: Jakks Deluxe "Dynamite Kid"
Arms: Jakks Deluxe "Dynamite Kid" Left Hand: Fit Finlay
Right Hand: Jakks Deluxe Stone Cold Fodder
Feet: Mattel Series 6 Kevin Von Erich
Accessories: MP5 Sub Machine Gun (from Neca Die Hard)
Beretta Pistol (From Neca Duke Nukem Modified slightly and painted black)
Radio (From Rambo First Blood Neca)
So here is what I did. I dremled out the head so I could fit a neck peg in. Took a hacksaw and hacked off Dynamite Kid's lower legs/boots. Basically I super glued the new lower feet/ legs on with the existing swivel I ground down from the Mattel figure. I sculpted on the “wife beater” and lower pants. Then I dry brushed grayish over the black. The belt was just something I threw together out of material and metal. The watch is from a “hot toy” Sara Connor. Tattoo is a decal I attempted and arm detail on right forearm I used black pen ink because that was the easiest. Last but not least I added on the “blood effect” Citadel makes it, got the idea from someone on here can’t remember who though. Hope you enjoyed looking at it, leave feedback if you like. Thanks!
