Ah that is not cool. Well, the only thing I could find in "sheets of foam" was this stuff called Foamies. Is that what you used? Seems too flimsy, but maybe that's the point.

Yep they are also foam. you cut that stuff to any size ya want. As far as a backshot goes he was sold about 2 yrs ago

Yep any craft store or Wal mart should carry it. It cost about .50 a sheet and can be cut into any shape. To get the wings to move up and down all ya need it to cut the wings into pieces and then set them on a pivot into the back.
Don't mean to be a bother, but you think you could take a picture of the back of your Monarch figure so I could get a good look at it?

I have another Venture figure that I'm gonna try and complete tonight in the SHS scale. I also have plans for a Baron Underbite and Billy Boy Genious and Pete White in 6" scale!! And heaven help me if I EVER find appropiate bodies the Venture boys!
