Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens is right around the corner and the Expanded Universe is now no longer considered canon. I'm honestly not too affected by that because I find the Expanded Universe on the whole pretty intimidating because of the breadth of the lore, but I do love the character of Mara Jade. If there were one Expanded Universe character I could pick to be in a live-action Star Wars movie, it would have to be the Emperor's Hand herself.

There are a number of excellent Mara Jade customs here on the realm and a lot of the ideas here aren't new at all. The head is from Hope Summers, with extra hair sculpted on. The base figure is Hope as well, with the arms taken from Madame Hydra and the lower forearms taken back from Hope. Hands and belt (modded) from Han Solo. Harness modded from Red Skull and painted over. Sculpted on the boots, the middle panel on the outfit, the ribbed section along the pants, the glove cuffs and the bands around her upper arms. The goggles, which are stuck down to the cape, are sunglasses from a Raphael in disguise sculpted over, with twisty wire for the strap. The lightsaber is a combination of Luke's and Obi-Wan's with the blade from Obi-Wan's lightsaber painted purple. The blaster is a gun that came with Quaritch from Avatar (she can't really hold it properly, nor does it actually fit into the holster. Also, she's way out of scale than Luke Skywalker, towering over him. Wait, why am I telling you all this?)
