Hey! Greetings from sunny Southern California! Happy Halloween, Realmers. Next up are 3 smooth takes on Shatterstar. I started with Captain Atom heads, Sota Cammy braids, DCUC Dove ponytail. I placed an elbow peg in the tip of the ponytail and made it rotate. I sent the heads off to get cast, along with the swords, then modified them to fit the neck pegs avoiding paint rub. Hope tattered capes, Odin shoulder pads, I used a combination of different belts which were airbrushed and then weathered. Fantomex and Machine Man hands. On the Madman based Shatterstar I sculpt the cuffs on the gloves and the end of the Dr Strange arms. Some sculpt around the capes to make them flush with the neck and blend to the body. I also sculpt the boot details, sleeves and costume details on the torso. Drilled a hole in his lower back to attach him to the flight stand. Some weathering on the hair to give it contrast. Lotsa work went into these, I am sure I'm leaving out something. The reason I have 3 here is 2 are by request and 1 is for Ebay.
