And now the main event to the Champions set. I hit a point where I wasn't satisfied with the group and was going to scrap them entirely. But, then I was loving how Darkstar was coming out. Immediately, I wanted to redirect to a Winter Guard set, but haven't worked out Ursa Major yet, and didn't really have time to finish the whole group. She was, however, a member of the Champions at one point, so it all works out. Fixing her up was actually the opposite process from Sunfire. Much simpler to add a bunch of yellow and then even the black lines around it than vice versa. Removed the hair, and replaced it with some from the classic Storm. Glued it in place, then sculpted up the headpiece, which also served to cover the empty space from the hair. Full repaint, and done! Love how she looks in the end.
