While we did get a figure of Leia in the slave outfit and in her disguise as Boushh from the Hasbro Black Series line, we've yet to see a 6 inch scale figure of Leia as she appears at the start of A New Hope. I was inspired by the customs of this look for Leia created by Geeksummit and Pulpyfiction here on the Realm. I wanted to use a base figure that would result in as little paint rub as possible, so thank goodness for the existence of the White Tiger figure, which is just the right size. I took the head and hands from Slave Leia, sanding down and then resculpting the hair. I really wanted to get the iconic hair buns right. Sculpted the clothes on the upper body, using a piece cut from an old white T-shirt for the skirt. Sculpted on the belt. Painted everything up. I wish I could've gotten the soft goods to look better, but I'm reasonably happy with how it turned out. Thanks for looking!
