In my continuing effort to use up some of my giant fodder bin, and after watch Guardians for the 2nd time I decided I needed a Groot as all of the smaller scale ones that came out were absolutely brutal.

I chopped away at the Kilowog body, added a bunch of epoxy, drilled holes and inserted wires for the "roots". At one point the green epoxy caught some of the brush hairs and it looked amazing so I added even more. I chopped off a hand and cut away at a gi joe piece to make the "branch" hand. The head is an Aliens head with epoxy, bits of wood and plastic stuck into it.
