El Valiente is a piece for Ray Ramos of Adversary Comix. I Used a Marvel Legends Herules supplied by Ray for the upper torso, a X-men 3 Juggernaut for the lower torso and a Rey Mysterio head also supplied by Ray. Filled in around the mouth, eyes and the decorative details on the mask with sculpey. Filled in the wrist band's with sculpey. Used Apoxie to alter the boots, smoothing out the toes and the laces, also to build the belt. Used my airbrush to paint the upper torso,wanted a nice smooth finish with all that skin showing.
Lol, I hate painting by hand too now, but you've still got to practice in-case the airbrush ever breaks. >_< Custom looks great, airbrushes make everything look professional!
Thanks! It was fun using an airbrush again, Plus I really hate those ugly brush marks that you can get all over the skin! The airbrush eliminates those.
