Here comes the Ax... Here comes the Smasher... The Demolition... Walking disaster! And then there were three with Crush! They were a true dominant team in the 80's! Until recently, they held the longest tag title reign ever for decades. Unfortunately the WWE has failed to induct them in the hall of fame! Road warrior rip offs some people say! But these guys were more successful in the biggest stage in the world...the WWF! They had epic battles with the British Bulldogs, The Powers of Pain, Brain Busters and the Hart Foundation. They gave me great memories of the Royal Rumble when they went at it as the first 2 entrants and then double teamed Andre the Giant! I still recall their devastating finisher: The Demolition Decapitation! (I tried to capture that below.) I loved the JAKKS figures and the Mattel as well. But they weren't perfect. There was no height differences for the former despite the face sculpts being great and the latter had shrimpy bodies despite having great gear sculpt. So I reached a conclusion that I wanted a perfect hybrid! Ax and Smash are their JAKKS heads attached to Tensai body painted to get rid of the pesky tats and to get the tights right. Boots and forearms are from Mattel so that gauntlets fit. Crush is the JAKKS head on a Big show Mattel body with singlet dremelled off and repainted. With Mattel boots and forearms. Additional gear is a combo of both companies fodder. Hope you like 'em. Feel free to comment. ![]() |

not a big fan of crush either, he had so much potential being a big guy but was very mediocre in the ring imo.
Great job on these guys...
