As his father, The Spider II posed as a hero for a time and even joined the SSoV. He secretly alied himself with The Hand to destroy the team but when Gunn found out of his treacherous ways he got killed. Wing witnessed this and almost captured Lucas but he tampered with a weapon that was going to stop the Nebula Man. Wing sacrifice himself and Lucas continued pretending to be a hero while perpetuating crimes. Eventually he was exposed by Green Arrow and Hawkman.
