Man, I loved me some "Spider-man and His Amazing Friends" growing. It's because of that show that for the longest time as a young kid that I thought Wolverine was from Australia, lol. Ever since Secret Wars figures I wanted an Iceman and Firestar to go along with Spidey. But I don't really do Marvel Legends customs. I figure since Hasbro is still making them I'd rather spend my time on a defunct line like DC Universe, filling in those gaps, and hoping Hasbro will one day make the figures I'm hoping for *cough*Diamondback*cough*Songbird*.

Anyway, when Hasbro unveiled Hellcat, my first thought was, Hmmm, that's a little surprising. My next thought, like many I'm sure was, Alright, that yellow base would be great for...Firestar!

So as soon as they came out I grabbed two. But still she sat in the fodder bin waiting for a chance. And now...a Firestar is born! So she's an ML Hellcat, with some Wasp hands, a Black Cat head, and a DCUC Starfire hairdo. The mask was made from moldable plastic. And paint. Thankfully though not nearly as much yellow painting that would've been required with another base figure. Now I just need Hasbro to make a new Ice Man so I can get an extra and paint his eyes green. Alongside Spidey and my MU Ms. Lion I'll finally have the team complete.
