One of the most intelligent, hilarious and original comic to ever be published (in my own humble opinion) Warren Ellis' Transmetropolitan introduced the character of gonzo journalist, truth seeker and all around foul bad person Spider Jerusalem. Modeled after the late great Hunter S. himself, Spider is a tattooed author/reporter who obsesses over politics, corruption and his drug addicted personal appliances (trust me, it makes sense if you read the book) while sharing a dingy small apartment with his three eyed, two mouthed gecko eating cat and far too many cigarettes (the cat smokes too) in the festering soup of future technology, pollution and human vice known only as "the city". I have lovingly re-created him here in 12" scale using an original BBi figure and a powers team head with the eyebrows redone. Ihave replicated his signature tattoos and put him in a patrick dempsey Enchanted black dress suit with Dylan Hunt Andromeda boots also from BBi, live cam glasses and a messenger bag (radioactive symbol attached) are custom by me, and I gave him an opening laptop, a tape recorder with removable cassette, a satellite phone with removable battery, a bottle of scotch, an enema (why not?) and his "bowel disruptor" gun (there is a lot to do with poop in Transmetropolitan) for accessories. He also has an alternate hand giving his favorite finger gesture.
