Made a couple of "bat capes" for figures. Used broken umbrealla took the nylon ironed it, sketched on paper bat cape shape, used pencil to mark over nylon, cut out, sewed parts over to allow a bendy wire through the stitching to allow pose ability of cape, ironed them into the skeletal structure the cape has (like the wings of a bat or a leaves veins) and then attached to batman figures after removing their clunky rubber capes. And as usual took some dynamic pics
Back to back photo. Kinda of a they have no idea what's coming and at the end side to it also like the contrast of Batman brooding as usual feeling the weight of the world on his shoulders as Scarecrow messes with his mind and then Scarecrow recoiling in fear or prepping himself for Batmans fear attack. He knows he's screwed.
Just showing the structure , they have slight differences (knight and asylum capes) as attached and stitched and shaped like they are from their respective games.
As I get the extra photo here's the majority of my figs from the Arkham series minus the alternate costumes of say Bats, scarecrow and Quinn to name a few. And yes I know that's a tv Arrow Deathstroke, but I've never really liked the figure from origins sculpt. Looks nice in game but also like the realism and I customised mine to bare more of a resemblance to teen titans colours Slade.
I will see what I can do. Have a look at my cape tutorial for Robin to get an idea of what I do but for Batman I will upload a picture of the paper stencil I made. The size of the cape is fairly straightforward I take the bat cape off a batman and have his arms extended outwards like in flight mode and mark 5 points (where his neck is, each hand and his feet) then they were joined up like an upside down triangle. Used the pics on Internet and looked in game for reference and on one side marked out the amount of curves in the cape then folded the paper over to get an equal shape. But as I said I will post a pic of my template I made with measurements.
