My 2nd Nephew of the King of Rohan figurine: Hand-sculpted ( over an armature of tin-foil) from LaDoll Premix Stone Clay Air-dry Clay by YokaiJohn.Hand-painted with acrylic paints and sealant by YokaiJohn.
Hi there my friend ,do you ever consider sculpting on top of 99 cent action figures? you will have certain articulation Plus I think you be saving money on clay.you're very talented and I love fantasy figures.....keep up the good work.something to think about WB.
Thank-you dear.yes,I've sculpted on all sorts of action figures before(as for 99 cent figures,it would depend on the type of 99 cent figure, some 99cent stores carry some nice AF's from time to time). When making a figurine though I'll continue to stick to building an armature from Tinfoil(or in some cases metal wire) and sculpting over that. With a figurine there is no need for articulation, when doing an action figure then I would go for articulation.
The figures contained in the Custom Showcase are not for sale by Figure Realm, and the creators of the customs are no way affiliated with Figure Realm. The Custom Showcase is purely for entertainment purposes and only provides a means for the creators to show off their work and trade ideas. Figure Realm does not make or sell customs.
