So the first Tyroc I made was a commissioned figure. But of course I also needed one for my Year of the Legion project for my own collection. So, to differentiate a little bit I decided to go with Tyroc's second costume. Yep, at some point off page Tyroc must've looked at his costume and realized how absurd it kind of looked. So he turned it down a few notches. Gone were his white gloves, now replaced with some sensible white wrist bands! But everything else remained, the high-collared white unitard, the chains, the winged booties...

Some things change, but other remain the same. Same basic formula as before, Tyroc was made using a DCUC Todd Rice (Obsidian) for a base because, c'mon, who else could use such a unique looking belt? The head came from a cast of Mister Terrific that I made myself then sculpted a sweet afro atop him. The high collar came from a Martian Manhunter cape and was then glued and blended into the legless unitard--stylish! Booties and wrist bands are sculpted, and some craft chain completes the look.

And so, another Legionaire joins my Legion shelf.
