So in February I decided I was going to do a "Year of the Legion" project where I focused the majority of my custom efforts for the next 12 months on filling up a Legion of Superheroes shelf in my collection. One of my very first members I did was a 1980's version of Jan Arrah, Element Lad. And then someone quickly made me an offer I couldn't refuse to purchase him from me. So, I had to make another Element Lad for myself.

Same basic formula as before, DCUC Black Lightning body with an Obsidian left hand for that element changing power, a Marvel Legends Chris Evans Cap head with a sweet perm that would make even the smoothest of 80's lotharios jealous courtesy of a DC Direct Infinite Crisis Alex Luthor figure.

But, since I was making Element Lad again, I wanted him to have a companion, since many of the Legionaires will eventually pair up on my shelf. So I also went ahead and made his one time love interest, Shvaughn Erin(not Sean Erin--don't ask), so be sure to check her out as well.
