Wolverine came shirtless. The sculpt was great but the massive cut through his mid-torso was awful...and I was tired of Huge Jackman body shaming me :/ A white microfiber cloth and an old leather glove has brought ol' Logan the modesty he's been roaming across Canada in search of. Some thin strips of blue tape helped mark out the lines to paint the stripes with acrylics. I'm actually really surprised with how well this turned out!
I used almost all of the flat surfaces (palms and back of hand) from the pair of gloves. Then I duplicated those slabs in tissue paper to try multiple combinations until I found some shapes that worked. Basically a lot of trial and error (heavy on the 'error' part! Lol). Then I used a tiny nail to apply thin lines of super glue to attach it all together...which actually holds pretty well!

Aw man. This looks so awesome. makes me regret having to sell my The Wolverine figure (needed funds) I surely would have kept it if it had this jacket and vest.
