History
When Cassandra Nova took over Charles Xavier's body, the Imperial Guard was sent tricked into believing they had to kill all mutants. Cosmo was a part of the group of Imperial Guardsmen who went to the Xavier Institute and fought them. Once there, however, he was defeated by Cassandra Nova.

During Vulcan's rampage through the Shi'ar Empire, the Imperial Guard were forced to engage him on one of the Shi'ar moons. Cosmo was defeated and burnt to a crisp by Vulcan.
