Zeus, Odin, and several other powerhouses of the celestial plain held a summons create a plan of what to do about the ever imposing threat of Cthulhu and how to keep him from waking and ending the universe as we know it. During the summons they sought the help of the arch angel Micheal and together they had Moses build a stone golem. When Moses finished the golem all the celestial being imparted a portion of their powers into it and gave it life and charged it with traveling the globe and collecting anything g and everything to do with the elder gods and the old ones.. when the golem collects these things he imprisoned them in the castle of light... The castle appears to be huge on the outside but has endless amount of space on the inside. One day the golem came across Merlin and after getting into a devastating battle Merlin saw how the Golem quest was driving it to darkness so he planted a seed from the tree of life in the golem body, constantly purifying it but adding to his power... To deal with this Merlin cast a spell binding the golem to the inside of the castle forever but also attracting the most capable person in the world to the temple and no ding him or her to the golem and the temple to take of the golems task since he can no longer... In the castle the golem is all powerful. The temple itself can not be destroyed by any means and is designed to outlast the earth and float through space and keep it's contents trapped away forever until the end of the universe itself with the golem inside
