This is basically just a Hulk with lots of sculpting. The open hand comes from the Green Goblin BAF. I glued toothpicks to the legs and then put tape around them. Then I filled it with small stones to increase the weight and sculpted over the whole legs. Finally I used real sand to add texture. Painted with Tamiya Acrylics.
Great idea. Was planning on making a Sandy on the new Absorbing Man BAF, but could not find a suitable head for Flint. This Hulk head looks like it would work perfectly ! Awesome work, dude !!!!
Thanks! If you still intend to do this I highly suggest giving him long sleeves in order to avoid issues with paintrub. Also you should make the legs as heavy as you possibly can, to allow more posing options with his sandy arms.
