This figure uses the Hasbro 2012 Spider-man figure from the Amazing Spider-man series of 6 inch figures. I used this as it had decent scale and proportions to go along with my movie figures, and I also had two of them. I started by sanding off a lot of the texture on the red sections, and sanding off the eyes completely. I then filled in the webbing sculpt because as much as I like sculpted webbing, the sculpted ones in this figure were not accurate to the movie suit, so I opted to just paint them. I used milliput epoxy clay for the sculpting, like the eyes, belt, arm details, and to fill in the textured areas. I then gave it a head to toe paint job using two different blues, blacks, a matte red and metallic red, as well as a permanent fine tipped pen to draw the front spider and webbing on the figure. I also used the pen for the seam lines on the suit. Overall, I am satisfied with the figure, and it looks good on my shelf whilst I await the official Hasbro figure.
