Abner Jenkins was a mainstay as the Beetle in Spider-Man's rogue's gallery for years. When many heroes disappeared in the Onslaught battle, Jenkins joined Baron Zemo's ploy to pose as the heroic Thunderbolts. The problem was, as MACH-I, Jenkins liked playing the good guy, and he decided to become one for real. Every time he significantly upgraded his armour, he raised the Roman numeral one higher.
This figure started out as Iron Monger. Mods were done to the head, shoulders, and gauntlets. I used clear red plastic and thin rubber for the visor and Omega Red's shoulder pads for the gauntlets. The wings were made from toy airplanes. The throat protector is from an Iron Man figure. The rest is fodder.
