Hello dear Realmers,

today I will share with you my latest custom, a sizewise propper Warpath in his X-Force outfit.
And as he had been made before I went for my own recipe.

So I took the body from a C&C DC Universe Classics Despero. I strpped him from all the armor he had to his upper body and also took away his hands.
The head was from a DC Universe Classics Appache Chief as he had the right size and lenght of hair I wanted. Finally I took all 4 hands of a Sota Street Fighter Birdie figure as I really wanted some bigger sized hands that allready had a gloved look on them.
There was a lot of sanding necessary to avoid paint rub.
I did some sculpting with apoxie to achieve the following things: Face sculpt for a more vicous look, also sculpted the mask and sculpted aditional hair, after I carefully cut of the head band of Apache Chief without destroying the hair. I Sculpted the Chest and back symbols for his suite but didn´t go for the smaller symbols on his belly as they would hinder the articulation. I did sculpt some additional bizep muscles and also the X symbol on the belt.
I used some part of the Despero armor to make him Bootbelts which I glued to the figure.
I used black primer spray on most of the figure. I sanded the fingernails down to achieve a more glove like optic. I decided to give him the Clownface knifes. In order to hold them tight I dremmeld holes the closed fists. Now he can hold the knives upwards or downwards in his hands. I cut of parts of the Despero wristbands to use them as part of the gloves. Now they will stay on the arms while you can switch the hands.
After all these modifications I finally put some paint on this huge guy.All was sealed afterwards. I put some gloss on the boots, gloves and mask for a shinny effect.

8 inch beastly looking Warpath ... done!

looks great. Funny coincidence, I am currently working on a Warpath using that same head (Apache Chief). Don't think I have seen that head used before, and was hoping to be the first. Oh well, you beat me to it

Hi newcollector, no his head wasn´t used before, people usally went with the to small custom cave Warpath head, or they took the Street Fighter T-Hawk figure to make this custom. I looked at comic art and also saw the Bowen Statue and wanted a size fitting long haired head. It´s a good choice and I was long time struggeling to keep the headband and also give him a feather. I´m curious for your take on him.

Yep, I had trouble making that same decision. I, ultimately, ended up keeping the headband (and adding a feather). However, after seeing your version, I am thinking about re-visiting my decision. Again, nice job on yours.
