I am jumping on the bandwagon of customizers who have used the ML Red Guardian to make a better Magneto. That Jubilee wave one that Hasbro gave us was uninspired and just awkward. I also decided to take a slightly different approach to his classic costume. I always felt that the purple belt and bracers around his wrists and arms were a strange choice. After all, he is the "master of magnetism", wouldn't it make more sense to have metal in his costume.
Anyway, I used a ML Red Guardian base with lower arms and lower legs from the Hasbro Magneto. The cape and head were also from that same figure, but the helmet (I think?) was from the Toybiz Magneto. The belt was sculpted.
You're right, the silver really adds something. From now on, this is how I see Magneto. I love to see customs that re-imagine a character's look from the comics, instead of strictly adhering to the classic representation. Nice work!
