I've been wanting to do a Beta Ray for the longest time and finally had an idea on the route I wanted to go with him since the original Toybiz version was pretty dang nice representation of the classic look for him. So I decided I would redesign him bigger and badder and all armored up ready for battle. I got a head that was cast of a shrunken Bowen statue head by Russell aka "wadewilson" on ebay. He does great work but sizes his stuff to fit Mego bodies. Well since this was a bit bigger I needed a bigger base, and the Onslaught armor was perfect for what I had in mind. I modded some 3 pack Hulk arms to fit in the armor, resculpted some details, modded the cast to fit, and attached fists from the Old Beta Ray Staction figure and sculpted his gloves. Gave him lightning from a 12 inch Titan Electro figure.

Really happy with the bigger look on him, a Horse version of Thor should be big and imposing and well...a Stud.
