The RT Series Group Transport, also known as the Rover, was an armored personnel carrier produced by Weyland Corp. The RT Series Group Transport's shape-memory alloy wheel system had nano-reinforced hard-composite treads that could resist temperatures up to 2000°F. Its ceramic gas turbine engine had .4 million pounds of thrust making its cargo weight virtually unlimited. With an 5.7 meter wheelbase, the personnel bay could fit up to 20 occupants.
In Prometheus, the RT01 was used for travelling to the Alien Temple on LV223.
This Vehicle is completely scratch made. The illumination device was made with two LED lanterns and cable, as you can see below.
I can truly see why they are Herbert. You can see the Love gone into these.
Fingers crossed I may have a 1/10th ALIENS USCM APC shell to work on inside and Out. Have commissioned a Prop builder friend to do the body with working doors and removable top access. Wheels and Interior/Exterior painting I will be doing.
I am very excited to se this 2018 in my collection LOL
Oh man..... I not know how I missed this. This is off the chain !!!!! Absolutely amazing!!!!!!!! Great usage of fodder!!!! Though thats a lot of cigarets!!!!!
Hi Edgy 3 !! Thanks, coming from you means a lot to me. I really didn't use all the cigarettes boxes that you see in the picture. I used them only to measure the interior space of the vehicle in the first stage of the fabrication. You can see the interior of the RT-01 in my Bishop custom and the final finish ( in which I used other materials ).
Outstanding work Herbert. Congrats on winning the contest. This vehicle looks cool and made from scratch looks awesome. Congratulations!! Ojala un dia puedas realizar tu sueño de trabajar en NECA creando magnificas figuras y vehículos como este. En hora buena .
