I decided to go with yellow to set mine apart from everyone elses which I think worked considering everyone told me the exact same thing you did.

killer job man. I absolutly love armory batman for ironman. the only thing I would have done different would be the chest being your red color rather than yellow. other than that its banging. I am deffinatly going out and buying one of these figs. mabey I will finally make another custom havent in a very long time. I think you might have inspired me good job keep it up
