Figure I made for a friend.Luke the Custodian(not janitor!)Prof. X was a good base because I didn't have to sculpt the clothes that much.I just removed jacket and did abit on the chest and waistline to make it look like a jumpsuit, instead of a dress shirt. This figure was very hard to stand,so I did a lot of superglueing on the joints. Then I repainted.Another reason why this figure was so good is he has a peg on his back and when you move it he has Mopping action!Mop is a wood skewer painted brown with hemp glued on,bucket is disposable shot glass painted grey, and the trash can I painted grey is from sour candy I bought at Walgreen's mostly just for its trash can shaped container.let me know what you think
To Niallskie:Thanks for the comments.Luke and my brother Al are custodians and they don't like when they get janitors. The big trash can is a sour candy container from Walgreen's(it's originally yellow)I got it around Halloween time, but they might sell them all the time. They water bucket is just a disposable shot glass, they come in a pack of 50.You can probably buy these at a grocery store or a party store.Hope this helps. Thanks for the comments.Respect to all custodians everwhere.
I salute you big time for the reason why you made the custom first, then on your custom second. My dad in-law is a night shift custodian also and he is the kindest man I know... love that guy so much. And I see your respect for his profession, that you made sure his a custodian and not a janitor. Wonderful job on the figure, it does look like a jumper rather than Prof's clothes. Where did you get the props, the drum and water pail? Good job man, wonderful idea and an honorable cause.
