Really happy with the way this came out. Cut off the face with my Dremel.sculpted and painted the body extension. A small high power magnet glued in the spider half and a little screw in the waist stem of Mcfarlane's Dracula. A little paint. Skulls from spawn fodder and LOTR orc bow, arrows and quiver. If you have the Shelob base figure, then your aware of its horrible leg articulation. Fixing the legs is on the to-do list. But I wouldn't fix this one so much as I would try again, with a different approach. Not to sound like the old man that I am, But.... A graphics arts professor told me to never destroy your first attempt to fix it but to start all over from the beginning to help stop the second guessing as you work. ( there is 5 cents worth of free advice)
My gosh Edge what an awesome piece this custom is top tier it's freaking so good what a wonderful custom bravo dude I really love it super duper dope 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks bro !! This is one of those projects that was bouncing around in my head for a long time, struggling with the adequate approach. Compared to the actual build time which only lasted a few hours of foucsed fury. Glad to have hushed the nagging voice and turned it into one of my favorite creatures from thr D&D universe. Thanks for stopping by the old catalog!!!!!
First thing I said when I saw this was: oooooooo interesting. Not the most knowledgable person on DND but this (before reasing the title even) screams it. Looks awesome.
Dark elf ( Drow, live under ground) worship a goddess of chaos (Loth ) who when angered punishes her followers by turning them in to this monstrosity!!! Thanks for the time and energy!!!!
Freakin awesome. My barbarian would take much pleasure in slaying this foul creature. Very nicely done. oh and I think that is good advice. worth every penny.
