When I saw Hasbro ML Sentry, I said "This is a great base to make a Conan costum figure for Barbarian Horde Contest!", so I started working on it, but I was not pleased with my work. I am fan of Frazzeta's Fire and Ice, and when I was a child always wanted action figures from these characters, so I thought: what if I remove hair from Sentry figure and sculpt a cowl? and what if I add a bit of fabric for the loincloth, cut and sculpt the belt, sculpt the boots, paint with a dark skin color? Oh, yeah. The rest was just re-sculpting an axe from Heavy Metal 2000 Fakk2 figure, and adapt the skull neklace from Armor Lady Death. For this custom I used epoxic plasticine and Game Acryilicos Vallejo paintings. Hope you like it
Awesome! Love the size and articulation of the Sentry body. I've been working on a custom and trying to pull the hair of the Sentry head and mine just doesn't want to come off Whats the secret? Great custom!
Thanks, for your words, bjpalm1994!!!! You are right, it's really hard to pull the hair of the Sentry head, the secret is patience, warm water several times and an xacto knife used carefully. I liked that hair, and I'm gonna use it on another custom!!!
