He'd offer you mercy, but he doesn't touch the stuff. This guy is 100% series 2 Human Torch. Major modifications include cutting off the fire on his forearms and shins, sculpting over all the muscles on his torso, and covering his face with sculpty clay. And dremeling down his upper arm swivels to reduce paint rub. The cuffs of his shirt are rubber bands, his bowtie is a ribbon cut to shape, and smoothed over with clay. His glasses are floral wire (so much easier to bend than a twist tie) painted yellow. What I tried to do is sculpt his torso in a way that it looks like a jacket flap closed over. Sculpting his collar threw me off because I never really what those collars actually look like flapped down. I painted the collar a dark gray to stand out against his black vest. His arms are a bit sloppy, from all the coats of paint, and trying to put a band on there. So I'm disappointed in myself on that front. Paints used were: Folk Art acrylic hot saffron Americana Satin White Anita's acrylic black Anita's acrylic yellow for the glasses ![]() |
