Wanted to post these right after the zombie contest but got busy. In the magic the gathering multiverse no creature is as known and feared as the slivers. These guys are a hive creature that attack in numbers and gain diffrent abilities from each other. The heart sliver speeds up the hive. They get big and nasty real fast, probably why most magic players hate them.
I used a broken marvel legends mystique for the body and two pumpkin head Tails for the tentacles. I really like the mystique head so I replaced it with a wasp head gave it a quick sculpt and painted job and a sliver is born
Very cool; I've never seen any kind of a Sliver figure done before! I kind of had an obsession with them back-in-the-day when I used to play Magic with my younger brother and another friend.
Thanks patraw! Love the work you do. They recently brought them back but gave them a humanoid, golem look, was a little heart breaking. But these guys are very easy to obsess over for sure
