To provide some insight to a little known character, Xesh was a force sensitive Human male captured by the Rakatan Infinite Empire nearly 26,000 years before the destruction of the first Death Star. Trained in the dark side of the force as a Force Hound (force wielding slaves that sought out planets strong in the force to conquer), where he was pitted in fierce survival broods that made him an expert in all forms combat, unarmed, and swordplay (blasters weren't invented yet). This figure's a complicated mix of of Marvel Universe, and G.I. Joe parts. The figures are a similar structure, but the pins, and ball joints are pretty different. So I used some Magic Sculpt to fill in, and a superglue technique to tighten the joints up a bit. To prevent paint wear, I used VHT vinyl dye as a base coat, the dye bonds, and doesn't rub off. From there added custom soft goods, belt made completely from scratch, and cut the armor plates from styrene. Went all out on accessories with a scarf, two heads (helmeted, and not), force lightning, and a Force Saber (precursor to the Lightsaber, but requires the dark side) with a custom hilt, and two magnets, one for the blade to come off, the other for the hilt to attach to his belt.

Please wait...
Does VHT dye stick well to the figure? No paint rubs?
