For a number of unexplainable, weird reasons, I ended up with a set of diversely sized PVC piping tubes. Being the restless soul that I am, I decided to start tweaking on them, until something resembling articulations developed after a few days. Since I am currently working on a story of my own --which I call Kuhul Ajaw: Brother War (The High Lords)-- these new parts I crafted inspired me to complete a character which eluded conclusion for some time whenever I attempted to develop it. Although it is quite tall, this Bioroid was designed to be in scale with my other 6 inches figures... Let´s see what you think about it.
Thanks, ShyGuy... I am working on a smaller scale figure, also scratch built... I hope to be posting it soon. Thanks, again, for taking the time to comment.
I will share , hopefully that I will have them ready for a contest I like putting my customs through them instead of just posting unless it's a simple mod. I only posted three but have quite a few I didn't take photo shoots of until I get time to set up up a permanent photography spot in my house it's a pain to set up and I don't like crappy pictures of my customs (doesn't do them justice) but enough about me lol you have to make a vid tutorial on making your hinges and such
Thanks, Galactron22. I do tend to work on a couple of modules, and then re-use them through the whole body... I think you can tell by the shape of most of the articulations...
Foreddyn, thanks for your comment. It is, basically, a lot of sanding and aligning pieces together. The good thing about using pipes, is that diameters tend to stay in the same proportions, which is a great help. I promise to post something on the matter soon, in my Patreon page. Thanks for the interest.
Thanks for taking the time to comment, Loyalty. Of course I can´t deny Star War´s Battle droids remain as a great source of inspiration for my works...
