MANY people on the Fwoosh and Marvel Toy News sites have lamented that the SDCC Sandman doesn't easily combine with the new BAF arms. My "Figure Realm first"-- fixed it! I had to heat & pop the shoulders and then paint the small amount of green on the upper arm. THIS is the Sandman we deserve. He is up for sale and the Iceman figure is included because he is responsible for the wicked frozen arm (formerly Absorbing Man's concrete arm) that now comes with Sandman! When you say you boiled and popped the shoulders, you mean at the bicep swivel, right? I'm thinking of doing the same thing, but just want to confirm the pegs match on both the BAF and Raft versions.
As luck would have it, this didn't require mixing. Testors Skin Tone, Shadow, dry brushed on, did the trick. I was really surprised I didn't have to blend any paint. I think it helped that I did a really light coat over a green paint.
