My custom Batman The Animated Series Gotham City diorama, built specifically for the DC Collectibles BTAS figure line.

Using a bookshelf, I built the diorama around it with black and red card. the buildings and steps were created using foam board, and covered in black card. The clouds are also black card cut to shape.

There's actually a Batcave section below too, but that part of the diorama has been left intentionally incomplete until I get a good idea of what else will be released in this figure line.

I love it! The only thing that could have improved it, that would also have been incredibly awkward to pull off, is actual lights in the buildings and sky. Like I say, very difficult but again that's all you could add. Such a lovely, neat display! I can't find the clapping gif but trust me, I'm clapping!

Thank you!! There are actually some lights behind the buildings that light up the display, but I don't use them often. As you say, it would have been better if possible to have the windows themselves light up, though I'm not that clever unfortunately LOL

This is a perfect dio for those awesome figures but damn it makes me feel uneasy seeing that huge Batwing held up high above all those figures. I'm sure you have it secure but the thought of it falling down and smashing everything scares me :P

I guess there is a section between the area where the wing is and the figures below. Its not visible because of the clouds. That would be my guess

Thank you!! lol No need to worry, there's no chance of that big beauty falling down. An earthquake couldn't shake it! As nanocustoms very astutely guessed, the Batwing is actually on it's own section cleverly hidden by the clouds.

I can't describe how much I love this dio. The colors and the sleek lines, and the depth you created with the different layers of clouds make this an amazing 3D version of the animated Gotham.
