Brother Hu was a simple head swap. Took a Bronze Tiger head and put it on a Blue Lantern Kyle body.

Amoxicillus was just a repainted Despotellis in Model Masters Ford/GM engine blue.

Brother Hu was a doctor of average skill on his home planet of Conglin in sector 33 when a mysterious virus started killing people. With no medicines having any affect people begin to panic and riot. Distress calls were sent out and Green Lanterns Kyle Rayner and Medphyll come to try and help. Kyle recognizes that the virus is Despotellis of the Sinestro Corps. They tell the doctors of Conglin that there is no cure. Dr. Hu refuses to give up and tells the lanters that we cannot give up hope. Seconds later a blue ring comes streaking out of the sky and lands on Hu's finger. Kyle gets a huge surge of power from the presence of a blue ring. Hu's sense of hope for a cure is communicated to his ring. Hu bathes one of the sick in the blue light from his ring and is able to isolate the virus in the body of the sick person and asks Kyle to lend is willpower to the process where they are able to super charge the ill persons immune system into creating antibodies that destroy Despotellis virus. With the over abundance of hope and willpower in the antibodies it gains sentience and becomes a blue lantern as well. Amoxicillus the blue light of hope to combat the fear that Despotellis brings throughout the galaxy.

Hu then changes his costume to reflect Kyles as he now looks upon Kyle as a brother in the fight against fear.

I came up with the name Hu as it is the chinese word for tiger. The name Conglin is the Chinese word for jungle. The name Amoxicillus is based off of the antibiotic amoxicillin.
