With this being your first shot, I see some amazing paint jobs from you on the horizon. Nice job. As far as this piece goes, I think the color of the shell is a bit neutral or passive. Choosing a a warmer color would have made it pop, as red is the compliment of green, I would have tried an orange/brown color. The trim of the shell would have been a good opportunity to add another color, even the one you chose, to give some variation and contrast. I give the critique because it said it was requested and you're deserving of some feedback. It's a clean paint job, so it's obvious you have some technique, good coordination, and steady hands. Some forethought on color scheme/palette will take you a long way. But all in all, this is a nice looking mcD's toy! Before and after pics would have really shown off the transformation too.
