Beaumont has a long, celebrated history that spans as many as several panels of two entire DC comic books. Said to possess a diamond-hard body and equally sharp intellect, Beaumont is one part of the Odd Couple duo the British papers call Class War. Alongside Sunny Jim, Beaumont was aided by Mon-el in defeating Big Don Drummond. Later he attempted to help the Shade defeat some Egyptians gods. That didn't go quite as well, though it is assumed Beaumont survived the ordeal. And that's all.

So why bother making him? Well, while making my recent Shade and La Sangre customs I noticed that Beaumont had a similar look to that of the DCUC Alan Scott head, and since I have several of those handy, along with many Samurai bodies, and Dr. Mid-Nite arms in the fodder bins, it seemed like a quick and easy custom to purge a few pieces out the over-filled bins. Beaumont also is the only custom I've ever completed in one-sitting thanks to his fairly simplistic costume.

But you want to know more about him, right? Is "Beaumont" a code name? His first name? Last? Can we call him "Beau" fo short? Did I make all of this up? Dunno. The only other known information about him is that he has a wealthy background. And his oft times partner, Sunny Jim comes from a more blue collar background, and thus, as Mon-El points out, their team-ups involve them mostly insulting each other the entire time they're together. I'm not sure if either will ever appear again in the DC Universe, but that alone seems worthy of at least one more, extended appearance.
