This story is true a second time, after my son asked to make another Black Mask figure with me:

If you look at my other customs, you will see I do almost exclusively Marvel character customs. (Backlash being the notable exception.) But when my son, who is eight and into The Batman cartoon, suggested I do Black Mask as a custom, I realized I had just what I needed on hand. He served as my creative consultant-- he wanted us to use a traditional Red Skull head, keep the blue human eyes, and he also selected the gun. It was a lot of fun having him help me take the photos too. We eagerly watch how it is doing on eBay-- how many viewers, watchers, bids, etc. and I hope he will help me with more of my work in the future. :) (Spoiler Alert: he did, but maybe our next one won't be Black Mask!)
