The M-113 creature, better known as the Salt Vampire, now stalks the crew to sate her hunger. The head and hands were reduced in size, cast in plastic and modified from Captain Dunsel sculpts. The longer hair comes from Beverly Crusher, the body from Tarchannen with the veins sanded down. I then began the arduous task of sculpting all the hair. The dress is made out of cheesecloth. I took some artistic license without a clear reference pic—but that is a fun part of customizing—and painted the irises red for a more “vampiric” look. The eyes and teeth were the greatest challenge on this figure. Rustoleum plastic primer, Aztek and Ceramcoat paints, and Plaid matte clear acrylic sealer finish the project. The last of the buffalo roams again!
