So, I decided to tackle one of my favorite alternate versions of Superman...again...the Earth-2 Superman, but I wanted to do him a little different this time. I had a few extra DC Signature Super Powers 30th Anniversary Superman figures, and decided to give it a shot in the DC Universe Classics style.

The figure was a pretty simple custom to do. I took a DC Universe Classics/Signature Super Powers 30th Anniversary Superman figure, and used the boil and pop method to remove his head. Next, I replaced his head with the head from a DC Direct Crisis on Infinite Earths Series 2 Earth-2 Superman. With the new head now attached, I trimmed down the existing long Superman cape into the shorter Earth-2 Superman cape. Lastly, with the Earth-2 Superman now fully reassembled, I glued new symbols onto his chest and cape (these symbols were made by hand at a larger size, and then photocopied and shrunk to proper size), and TA-DA...the Earth-2 Superman!!!
