Had this mini sitting for quite a while before I finally started working on it as I wanted a change of pace. While I like the overall design of the classic rogue trader space marine. I felt that some minor adjustments were needed.

First thing was swapping the Rogue Trader Beakie helmet with a Grey Knight helmet and using a Chaos space marine shoulder pad on the left arm to give a more menacing look while the plasma pistol arm was replaced with a Grey Knight sword arm.

The reason was I wanted to create the impression that the marine was swiping his blade at the enemy while at the same time rallying his fellow marines with his raised power fist. I did not glue the severed ork head that the marine was supposed to hold in his power fist as I felt that it would not looked convincing enough that the marine was rallying if he was holding it.
