One thing I love about taking commissions is that I get to make awesome characters I would never thought of making. I know little about Wildstorm comics but I definitely remember Taboo.
She is made from Wasp body with Satanna head. Her hands are from a Monster High doll that I resculpted. I sculpted her hair, armor, and tail which has a bendy wire in it. Part of the wings are Wasp but I newly sculpted/ constructed the bend and folding parts from clear plastic cover.
Huh, all I get are requests for more dudes in spandex, and then they get mad when I only charge them $30 because "it's not that hard, should be cheaper" lol
Haha! The hair was probably the most difficult part, never really did anything like it. I used Procreate and sculpted and curled strips. I started from the bottom and worked my way up to the top.
Hahaha I just get asked to do commissions for sculpting armour and they say oh it's thin and small and I'm like yeah but I had to sculp it paint it and make it good enough for continuous usage.
As the proud owner of this amazing custom, I can honestly say that the pictures don't do it justice. Just an amazing piece of art and l am lucky to be be able to add it to my now almost complete wildstorm collection. Thanks again Darryl.

That's my favorite part about commissions, too. So many awesome characters I never would have thought to mess with. Taboo looks fantastic! Love all the details. She came out perfectly!
